Metallic Blue Flower Can Light III

This is another Christmas gift I created for a friend in 2012 who wants to remain un-named for personal reasons.

This is a metallic blue flower can light, which can also be viewed as something that is of the sea based upon how the can looks. The 16 oz. AMP energy drink can was model painted with nine layers of Old Engine Blue paint to ensure luster and thickness in the paint. The top of the lower is actually several coffee filters that were soaked in blue food coloring, giving it a nice variant of shades of blue.

This photo shows not just the neat bubble design on the can with the transparent blue seven watt lightbulb active inside, but also the light coming out of the top a swell due to me poking holes in the coffee filters.
